"Hitting the 'VAMP' key will cause The Sinfonia to create an immediate vamp in a song. The length of the vamp will be equal to the number of times you hit the 'VAMP' key. This is especially good if a scene change has not happened as quickly as anticipated or a piece of scenery has gotten 'hung up', etc. If the conductor gives the sign to vamp measures 22 through 25, you would hit the 'VAMP' key four times once you are in measure 22. The 'on-the-fly' vamp would appear in the 'Action Event' window, and The Sinfonia will keep vamping until the 'X-VAMP' key is struck."
