Exporting Content For RMS Mix Use On Smartphones/Tablets/Computers

Thanks for purchasing the RMS Mix Add-On option along with your Sinfonia order!

Before using RMS Mix together with Sinfonia, you may need to export a version of your show. While we are gradually creating default content of all Sinfonia titles for separate RMS Mix use, it's possible we haven't gotten to your show yet. If that's the case, exporting will be a necessary first step that lets your cast put the right content onto their iPhones, iPads, Android devices, tablets, and other computers. Regardless, you will want to export from Sinfonia if you've edited your show or if you want to take advantage of the multichannel routing capabilities RMS Mix offers.

Please follow these important instructions:
  1. Edit the show per your needs (e.g. cuts, transpositions, tempo adjustments, channel groupings, etc.).

  2. (Optional) Select Tools → RMS Groupings to define/adjust instrument assignments to RMS groups.

  3. (Optional) Pan instruments to reflect group definitions. This is more important if you plan to use RMS Mix in conjunction with a multichannel sound design.

  4. Click on the first song to be exported. If you want to export the whole show, make sure the first song is selected. The export process will start there and continue down to the end of the song list.

  5. Select menu Tools → Export to RMS Mix. Follow the subsequent onscreen instructions to start the export.

  6. When the export is complete, a dialog window will ask if you want to upload the content to the RMS Cloud. Answer "Yes" to this and click "Next." 

  7. If asked, log-in to your RMS account.

  8. At this point, the upload should begin - and upon completion, the content will be available to your cast and production team. Here are instructions for accessing from an iPhone.
