How do I unlock additional Sinfonia or RMS Keyboards outside of the RMS Accounts system?

Before unlocking, please carefully test your computer with the free trial to confirm successful operation.

  1. Download and install the software (RMS Keyboards or Sinfonia) from our website onto the computer you want to use.

  2. When you launch the program, you will first see a menu of four button options. Select Run Trial Version to test the software and confirm it works properly on that specific computer.

  3. If you are happy with the performance, select menu Help → Purchase or Unlock Full Version. Alternatively, you can quit and relaunch the program. In either case, you will return to the original start buttons. Click Unlock.

  4. The RMS account login window should appear. Click on the "x" on the upper left side of login dialog box to dismiss it.

  5. You will be asked to confirm you want to use one of your unlock codes on this computer. Confirm the computer will be used for rehearsal/performance if you wish to continue.

  6. You should now see a user info screen. Fill out the appropriate information. At the bottom, answer "Yes" to the question "Has your organization already purchased this program?"

  7. Enter your license number (RMSKB-xxxxxx or SNF-xxxxxx) where indicated.

  8. If you are connected to the internet, clicking on "unlock" should automatically complete the process.

  9. If the above step fails, it could be due to your institution's network security, in which case you can either consult with your IT admin or unlock on a different network.
