Bluetooth headphones work fine for audio output (albeit with minor latency, which may be noticeable to highly-trained musicians' ears). The mic included in bluetooth headphones however, is not made for performance.

Instead, you can set your audio output to your Bluetooth Headphones and utilize your internal computer mic for audio input.
